Not an amazing post or anything - I think I am a little rusty. Sorry for being inactive recently, I have had homework and whatnot
Narome barely flinched as the cold water splashed onto his head and dripped down his hair. He was covered in scratches and various bruises from the previous day. His gi was in even worse shape than before, torn in several places and stained with dirt. The Tondoe Menace was a mess.
Although he didn't care to think about it, the situation was very bleak. He'd been successfully captured. Jax and Wild were going to turn him in. Even he was granted the priviledge of a fair trial, he would almost certainly be sentenced to death - and that would be the end of the Tondoe Menace. Worst of all... Narome wasn't sure if he cared anymore.
He raised his head to give Wild a blank stare.
Spoiler : :
I should probably do an Ayla post later.
Spoiler : :
I choose Wild! *Throws Pokeball*
All Wild recieved was a blank stare. After all that trouble he went through to get Narome water, he had to reach onto his belt, unclip the water flask, raise it in the air and then tip it onto Narome. And all he got was a blank stare.
"Aren't you gonna say thanks?" Wild said leaning into Narome.
Wild kneed Narome in the Stomach before heading back to his bedroll.
Edit: Hah!

So, I'm making an attempt to join this. Failure: 95% chance.
Username: Reyson Incarnate Character Name: Vergil van Sabolin Appearance: (made on tektek.org) Abilities: Vergil has practiced with the blade since he was a boy. His father, a blacksmith and successful merchant, forged Vergil his sword. Vergil's fighting style involves acrobatic feats and quick movement. He also is a very good rider (of horses, in case that wasn't implied. ), though he sold his stallion when in need of money. Nation: Darath. Backstory: Vergil was born in Sabolin as the son of a blacksmith, and picked up the blade at an early age due to the amount of swords around his father's shop. Vergil became very attached to his father, and grieved only briefly for his mother when she died. He helped his father in the shop when he got older, but his passion for the blade led him to join the army.

Aside from the similarities to Drey's fighting style, I don't see any major problem with it.
Approved.
Although I must ask: What is up with the 'Van Sabolin'? Does it mean he was born in Sabolin, or what?
Spoiler : :
Yesh. I should probably edit that in there.
Edit: Done~

Vergil stood in the crowd, watching Invictus speak. I'd do anything just to help this country, especially here in Sabolin. For Father. And as he stood there, listening to this, this inspiration, this patriot, this man who was so attached to his king and country, Vergil thought, What can I do? And when the man asked for recruits, Vergil looked at his sword. I can finally put Father's sword to good use. He thought of all those times, just helping his father around his shop, that he would go to the back and pick up a sword. He remembered how he would practice all night, after the shop closed, with a sword. He loved the feeling of adrenaline pumping through his veins as he imagined serving his country. His country, the crowd around him's country, Seraph Invictus's country, the King's country. And he finally realized, that he could join this epic crusade for justice, and do what he had wanted to all his life. Help his country.
When the man finished his speech, Vergil looked to see where the speaker was going. He ambled after the carriage to notify the man of his request to join. He had seen two others as well. I suppose they will be two of my comrades on this quest. He imagined how wonderful it must be to have such a high rank in the military and be so close to the King himself. When Vergil was a small child, barely seven years old, he had dreamed of such a status. Now, he could finally start his quest, and follow this man to the end of the world.

So it's been... what, a month now? I kinda disappeared without warning, and for that I apologize (especially to those involved with ET- I'm really sorry for that).
Anyway, my disappearance had to do with several factors. I've had a lot of stuff going on lately, mostly to do with school but I've also had quite a bit of Boy Scout stuff as well, along with some minor personal issues. I should have announced my leave, but it all hit pretty much at once and I kind of forgot about AAO for a while. I've been on the chat a few times since but for the most part I haven't been on the main website much except for occasional checkups on what's been going on. I haven't posted much lately because when I finally did have some free time occasionally, all I had the energy to do was play video games.
Anyway, sorry for my abrupt disappearance, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not yet making a full, official return. I'll try to come on this week and post where I am needed, but over the next 3 (I think it's 3) weeks pretty much all my energy will be devoted to studying for/taking AP tests. So I won't be on much. After that I will have literally almost no schoolwork whatsoever, so that should provide me with an opportunity to mount a full comeback. Until then, farewell and thanks for the understanding.
Also, two things: One, welcome to all who are new!

I sort of forgot where Invictus was, but I can't very well leave all of you waiting, now can I?
The siege begins now.
It was dark when the Chariot of Seraph Invictus arrived at the borderline of Darath, and towered over the three other members.
With a flourish, the door swung open, and down descended the Loyal Warlord.
"Gentlemen," He said, bowing to his new pawns with a smile, "I must thank you from the bottom of my heart. On behalf of the mighty King Thereme, and all of Darath, I give my sincere gratitude for your participation in this Holy quest."
He stood up straight, and his warm smile was replaced with a look of dire seriousness.
"Alright, men, this is the plan," He said, "We have here three chariots disguised as trading carts. Each of us will take one, and infiltrate the city. We will wear these robes to disguise ourselves--" He handed each of them a red robe "--And then take our places surrounding the capital."
He put on a black robe around himself, pulling the cowl over his soft azure-colored hair.
"Take your time and blend in with the crowd. When you hear my signal, then it is the time to strike."
He slowly returned into carriage.
"You'll know when I send it," He remarked. "Just be patient. Follow my orders, and we will walk the path to glorious victory."

Oh noes. Invictus is attacking Fellum right? That means I probably need to make a post soon. The following character has already been approved by SuperGanondorf via PMs, I think. Anyway, when I start posting as him, I'll start fully fleshing out the backstory for the Circle of Nine (aka. all my characters). I'll need to take some time to recap on a number of things though, and I'm quite a bit busy with school, since there's a lot of things happening now, such as several events being brought forward and the teachers trying to clear the syllabus by end of the term.
Spoiler : Character Application: Eshvelut Lochelle, King of Fellum :
Username: Stealthfire
Character name: Eshvelut Lochelle (Ash.veh.loot Lo.shell)
Appearance: Male. He appears as a aged man in his 60s with white hair. His medium length hair goes slightly beyond his shoulders and is slightly curly. He has pale, almost white, wrinkled skin which gives him a slightly sickly, yet wise appearance. Yet, there are no distinct features on his face. His general attire is a long, dark purple robe with gold lace trimming. The robe is made of a smooth silken material while the lace is embroidered is a pattern reminiscent of Fellum's symbols. While the robe has a hood, it is generally not worn. He often carries a large gold sceptre with several ornaments along its entire length. It has a egg-shaped cage made of 8 spiraling round wires at the top, ending in a octahedron at the end. Suspended within the cage is a large ruby sphere, about the size of a fist. It emanates a slight magical energy from it. There is a small red ⑨ engraved into the bottom of the sceptre. It is not likely noticed unless explicitly shown.
Abilities: Eshvelut's powers greatly exceed both Salfira and Roxciel in capability, rivaling that of the ancient lords of magic, being what one might call a physical god. He is able to manipulate matter on an extremely large scale. And not only can he annihilate matter out of existence, he can also create it from nothingness.
However, his knowledge of conventional magic is heavily scattered and is generally more knowledgable of great rituals, large-scale spells which would take a very long time to prepare and cast. In fact, he isn't able to cast most beginner spells. He also has knowledge of necromancy, but it is used very rarely. In his entire 'lifetime', Eshvelut has used necromancy spells only twice.
Like Salfira and Roxciel, Eshvelut is also an immortal. However, his version of immortality quite different from that of the Salfira and Roxciel. He is essentially a lich, his phylactery being the entire land of Fellum itself. By using an entire country's land as a container for his soul, he has extreme reach with his magic, able to target locations all over the continent of Leceil so long as he knows the target's exact location. This also means that he is bound to Fellum, and is unable to leave it without being gravely weakened.
His body, being just an avatar for his self, is physically very weak. Being highly unnatural, it slowly petrifies, then degrades into a skeleton over a period of time. While he can live as a skeletonal body or even as a spirit, this is often detrimental to his public image. He can create a temporary body out of material from the land of Fellum, but this rapidily degrades over the span of several hours and is a highly exhausting spell that itself takes a few hours to perform. Another method is to forcibily take over the body of another person, killing the person's soul in the process. Such a body can last several days to a few months depending on the state of the body.
The gem in the sceptre he carries functions as a link be within his mind and the soul. It allows him to move independently outside Fellum, though greatly weakened. If his body is seperated too far from the sceptre outside Fellum, it will lose consciousness, and his mind will immediately transfer to reside within the ruby in the sceptre. At this point, the sceptre must be brought back to Fellum for him to be able to cast magic (with a greatly limited range and power) and recreate a physical body to interact with the physical world. Destroying the sceptre outside Fellum (or high above its land) would kill him, but close to the land of Fellum, he could still survive so long as his main body is unharmed.
Nation: Fellum
Backstory: The 1st Creator of the circle of Nine and its founder, Eshvelut founded Fellum as its king. He had previously come from Alia, but after its decimation, Eshvelut, together with Salfira, moved to a new land and created the country that is now Fellum. While he had great support from the people of the newly founded nation due to his exploits in gathering people scattered all over Alia and forming the country, Eshvelut quickly searched for a successor, and abdicated as soon as the country was stable. Thus, he created a system of succession of kings where the king would choose his successor. In the event the king would pass away or abdicate before a successor was chosen, the council of 32 would elect a monarch, either from their own ranks, or from the public, allowing the cycle to continue.
Once under the rule of the ancient elemental lords, he sought to be free. Thus, Eshvelut created the Circle of Nine to seek a new power independent of the elemental lords. The circle soon discovered a new form of magic, one that allowed them to manipulate the world directly. Originally formed as a circle to research new magic, the circle knew the power of their new found magic and decided that it would be used for the greater good. Knowing their lives were limited, they sought for an eternal life to ensure that their legacy would not be lost, and to give themselves an eternity to unlock the secrets of the world.
His original name and existence is now the stuff of legends. Given the title of 'The Eternal King', he is said to sometimes speak with and guide the path of the kings of Fellum.
Other Information (optional): Having taken over the body of the previous king to pass power to himself, Eshvelut is now the king of Fellum. Eshvelut is extremely powerful, and I do not expect him to fight.
Vergil took the robe and put it on. Well, it's good to see he's put some thought into this. Although, I should expect no less from someone so close to the King, Vergil thought. "An excellent plan, don't you think?" Vergil said to his comrades. "Though, this is not the time for chatting. I'll see you once the operation starts, I suppose." He adjusted his scabbard so it would be hidden in the folds of the robe, and set off to get into position.
