Trigen watched as his friends failed at their attempts to help him. He had to remember what weakness this room had.
Then it came to him. Many years ago when Trigen was talking to chance, chance spotted a tennis ball and charge with all his might towards it.
At the time this damaged the chains, but back then he was only half the size.

"E-nigma... get the spiders attention. Do it quietly."

"Come on enigma! Where are you? Pls distract that spider!" netghost screams.

E stopped and pondered. "spider." He whispered. And then suddenly he disappeared. A flash of lightning appeared burning the spider, and then E flew out of the flames. "...HI Y'ALL! IMMA GIVE YOU SOME CANDY!" He shouted and threw a candy cane at the spiders head.

The turrets surronding chance took aim at the flying candy and fired. Chuncks of candy flew around the room, Luckily one peice hit against one of the chains holding chance hostage.

Trigen pointed towards the chains and screamed "E! Throw more candy!"

"YAHEEEEY~! CANDY FOR YOU, CANDY FOR ME, MY CANDY WILL MAKE YOU NEED TO...drink your milk today, drink your milk okay? Get some Moo Moo Juice~!!!" E sang off key as he threw Candy all over the room!

Lunch covered his nonexistent ears at the sound of E's voice. Sometimes he wondered why they ever brought that thing along to begin with.

As the chains became covered in candy, the turrets immediately turned and fired. "Ohhh, that's what they're trying to do" thought Lunch. Obviously the chains would be broken by the turret bullets and then Chance would be set free! Maybe E-Nigma was helpful after all... in his own, eccentric way of doing things.

"You know...Judging from the probability of our situation and the strange way of which we commit our actions isn't it highly possible that there is an omniscient and omnipresent being or beings controlling our actions? Indeed, we may just be works of fiction in some kind of deranged game. "E started pondering, looking up at the sky. "CANDYYY~!!! YAY, WE'RE FREE~! Hey that rhymes~!" E sang as he floated up to the rest of the group.

Lunch decided he'd actually try and hold a conversation with the energetic little pumpkin.

"That sounds like a valid possibility but without any evidence it's nothing but philosophical jibber-jabber." replied Lunch. "Perhaps we're all metaphorical representatives of a young boy's inner turmoil as he walks the path to adulthood and beyond? How can one say I'm not the physical personification of this hypothetical boy's metaphorical struggle with his own identity?"

He felt a little peculiar... perhaps his new found intelligence was a temporary effect of the room's atmosphere? There always was a strange odour in the room.

E looked confused and then blurted out "Candy tastes good~!"

Lunch blinked a few times, no longer able to understand what he'd said just moments ago.

"I... don't know what came over me. Nevermind."

As the team battle to free Chance they managed to destroy 3 out of 4 chains. Though the fourth was weak and made from barrel monkeys, all Chance would need was a pull to free him. But before the team could help Chance broke free himself and quickly destroyed the turrets.

Now the team finally had a chance to escape the underworld...

As Chance raced out of the room he was once trapped in, Trigen jumped on his back and waved for the others to join him.

"Hello, I'm new in town. Lukinson Atmines, but you can call me Luke. What's going on down here?" said a man in a red jacket.

What luke thought was a group was actually a large group of Siamese twins, 12 to be exact. They were all stuck to each other at the shoulder.

"Hello, Luke." They said in unison. "You are in the tunnel of the Siamese, are you here to join us?"

Lunch hopped on Chance's back along with Trigen. What a tedious process that was. But what could this ugly magenta bug thing even do?

"Come on guys let's get out of here!" said Lunch, adjusting his bright yellow scarf. "Let's show the gatekeeper he can't keep us trapped any longer."

Hopefully their efforts would not be in vain.
