What is up, everyone? This is Ikethelord3 or $Fth as I'm now named on AAO.

I've got a Livestream channel, as you may or may not know, and I like to play games. I was originally doing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for a while but I'm on a particularly frustrating boss so I figured I'd go back and do that down the road. For now, though, I'd like to get my channel out there a bit and let other AAOers know about it. I have a headset with a mic so I can commentate and I will play games in windowed mode whenever possible so that I can see the chatbox alongside the game, so that I can chat with my viewers and they can chat among themselves.

Alright, so I've been discussing an idea with GD and Fury and I think this could be a nice proposal.

My Proposal to the Viewers

Now, I understand that Terraria alone can be somewhat boring. There's a lot of mining and spelunking between bouts of exciting combat and the likes. So, what I think might be a good idea is to alternate between Terraria and a seperate game every stream (which will hopefully be every day). I want to make sure that everyone taking time out of their life to watch me make a fool of myself over the internet is able to enjoy the experience. And I want my watchers to feel included on the activities outside of just being able to chat with me. So, what I'd like is for the viewers to recommend games (around 10 total would be a nice start) and I'll pick and choose which ones I'm able to do. They can NOT be very intensive as my computer just isn't very good. I get lag in Terraria, after all. I can do games like GBA/NES/SNES sorta games, I can do stuff made in something RPG Maker and other low-processing games. I have Fallout 2 so I might consider adding that to the list and I was asked to do a horror game so I might do Wraith.

After getting a decent amount of games (again, about 10 total), I will make a very short Hurt and Heal kind of setup to determine the order I play them in. You all will get to heal 2 games total and hurt 2 games total. And you will get only one chance to vote. After a 24 hour period of time, I will check the scores and determine the order from there (that is, higher health games go first and vice-versa). Each game needs to be easy to process and needs to have a definitive ending so I know when to stop. Terraria can pretty much last forever seeing as it's an open world with no end to it, so I can keep streaming it for pretty much ever. These games, however, need to be games that I can play through to the end and then move onto the next game on the list.

If you think this is a good idea or bad idea, please speak up and tell me so. And please begin recommending games.

Do Metroid Fusion!! It resembles Castlevania in a way and it won't be as hard as CotM. And IIRC, you've never played it, so it could be a nice blind playthrough.

So, what I'm going to do is let the viewers determine the order the games will be played in. From now until 12 PM CST (GMT -06) which will be an hour before the stream tomorrow, we'll have a miniature Hurt 'n' Heal sorta format. Instead of letting everyone do a hurt and heal (or some combination) every hour or something, it'll be a ONE TIME VOTE. Each person who decides to put in a vote will have 5 heal points and 5 hurt points and can allocate them as they see fit. After the time period is up, I'll put the games into an order based on how much health they have (with more health coming first). Ties will be broken by a coin toss. I'll start each game off with 10 health. If you reaaaally want a game to come first, you might consider putting all your heal points into it but that means that you don't get any say in what comes second, so choose wisely.
