Emi slowly turned on, her red eye looking as distinctive as the blood that human's have. Her artificial blue hair tied back behind her, her skin looking almost lifelike.
She stood there for a moment, calculating her surroundings, but ultimately realized that nothing has changed since hibernation. Sadly, she left her quarters.

The sound of his robot counterpart's sinister "master" shocked Brett to his feet.
"NO. NOFFIRMATIVE. NEGATORY. I AM OPERATING AT 100%."
He shambled forward, finding that he still hadn't quite gotten used to moving such large metal feet. He struggled for an excuse.
"...I MAY uh... REQUIRE... CHARGING. THAT IS THE CASE. BEEP BOOP."
Brett maneuvered the clunky robot shell around the corner and away from VEERS' unfeeling eyes, under the pretense of searching for a wall outlet.
... That's it, I'm calling my next RP character Nick.

I don't get it. The name IS a reference, but I don't think it's whatever you're taking it to be.
As he rounded the corner, "Brett" tripped on a thick steel pipe that had fallen to the ground and silently cursed his luck. He looked up from the dusty floor.
Damn... he thought to himself. I don't even remember which way the exit is anymore.
Not that it would matter. If he tried to simply walk out while the other robots were active, he would be unmasked as a human and probably vaporized. Or shredded. Or... whatever it is robots did to their enemies. Experiments? Well, we've already been through THOSE, he mused. Thankfully, none of them had revealed his secret.
Yet.
Still, re-discovering the exit was probably the best way to go. He had to do SOMETHING, after all. It was very un-mechanical to spontaneously take breaks on the job -- he had to make sure to keep moving at all times. He headed down the hallway, trying to piece together the layout of the factory in his head.
VEERS watched with mild amusement as FOTC-2000 tripped over a metal pipe, activating the nearest sphere.
The sphere popped out of it's wall socket, floating towards the unit, trailing its long cable back into the wall.
"FOTC-2000, you seem to be having technical issues. Would you like assisstance?"

. . . Well. I didn't think this would sink so quickly. I'll take you up on your offer then, enigma, just to see if I could get this rolling a bit more. Now introducing some of the NPCs.
The clinks and clanks of shoes walking across the metal floors filled the hallway. A green-haired young girl (or at least, that's how she appeared) walked through the hall to check that all the factory's members were getting to their duties.
"Check...Check...Check...Everything's looking good so far!" The android said in a perky voice. She made checks next to all the different robots' names, making sure they were beginning their work. Her pupiless yellow eyes scanned each door quickly. The pin attached to her blazer was labeled "GiGi". She hummed as she worked. As she approached another room, she stopped and turned towards the wall, where a skinless android with white circles for eyes and a puppet-like mouth was standing and talking to himself.
"TOM, what are you doing? Don't you have some sort of duties to get to?"
TOM looked towards GiGi blankly. "Wall...feeling lonely...comforting wall...It all okay, wall..."
GiGi sighed. He was rambling to himself again. "So, uh...tell the wall I hope it gets better, I guess..." She picked up her pace without looking back at this point. She eventually came to a halt when she saw a face. Or rather, a red wiry...THING that should be a face.
"CARNAGE? What are you doing out here? You should be working in the training room! Papa made sure to tell me that it's dangerous to have you out and about among the other robots!"

Enigma, the only way to interact with your robot is to run the hell away from it, with that menacing intro. I figured that if you wanted interaction you would have just attacked somebody already.
Brett stood up and quickly brushed himself off.
"NO. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE NOT... REQUIRE."
Not technical assistance. ANYTHING but technical assistance. He wasn't sure what technical assistance would entail, but he had no idea what went on in the "mind" of that demonic machine, and he didn't need to find out.

Feeling overly sadistic, VEERS' orb snapped around Brett's side, so that a trail of floating chord enclosed him on 270 degrees.
The orb hovered near Brett's face, it's eyelid plates squinting, before the orb looked him up and down. "Something seems odd, FOTC-2000." The orb did an orbit of the robot, pretending to inspect, at the same time creating an encircling ring of thick rubber cable.
"If I didn't know any better..." VEERS trailed off, his orb's eyelids forming an expression that looked a lot like sadistic glee, before suddenly reshaping to the suspicious squint.
Internally, VEERS berated himself for allowing his emotions to show on the robot. With any luck, it would not be noticed.

As GiGi struggled a blast of a blue light zipped by CARNAGE's face. The shot was fired by a rather large robot, with a scarred metal face that resembled a skull. An eyepatch-like scope covered his right "eye", and an admiral's cap was placed on his head. In his hand was a large handgun of sorts, the source of the shot.
"C-Colonel Lex! Oh thank goodness you've come!" GiGi managed to let out.
"CARNAGE...put her down, or you'll spend the next few years trying to improve the single screw of you that'll be left." Colonel Lex's voice was calm, but menacing.
