Finally, one night, she has it. Leaving an apparent suicide note, Cicely begins to flee, before being stopped by her brother. Cicely vows to leave anyways, but her brother tags along. As her brother tries to talk her into coming back, they are caught in a middle of a riot among the people of a nearby village. Learning of a war that will soon begin, they both decide to investigate.

Croix is very kind and is usually willing to help others. He can also be seen as the Medic on the Battlefield.
He is one of the leaders of a secret assassins group that strictly follows the Leader of Sakoruu's orders.

While he is nice and kind on the outside, he is secretly evil on the inside.

Weapon of Choice: A sword and shield, as well as tactics of course. The shield is obviously meant to protect her, but if it will help, then the shield can also be used as a blunt object to hit the enemy. Combat pragmatism, yes. Can also do battle while riding a horse, but her abilities aren't as good while riding a horse, so she prefers to fight on foot instead.
Bio: Sylvia was born to a knight father(Named Albert) and a merchant mother(Named Ira). To be completely blunt, Albert was actually slightly disappointed. He had wanted a son that could follow in his footsteps to become a knight. Still, after a while of thinking, Albert decided that Sylvia could still be a knight anyway. Sylvia's training began at a young age, and it was rather strict. Because of this, she made few friends, but her father did teach her proper manners.

When not training, Sylvia would often accompany her mother. Sylvia learned mercantile skills while doing this, and it certainly helped her become more sociable, though she was still notably distant from most people. Because of that, and due to the training she received to become a knight, Sylvia became something of a tomboy, though it isn't instantly noticeable. Strangely enough, she's also somewhat shy. While those two terms seem to contradict each other, they are both true in Sylvia's case. Basically, if you don't know her at all, then Sylvia is rather shy and quiet. Once you do befriend her, then she starts showing more of her natural, tomboyish personality.

When Sylvia was 18 years old, she decided to go travel the world as a mercenary. When she told her parents about this, they were rather reluctant at first, but she convinced them that the fighting experience would be a good thing, and that she would return one day to become a knight. After that, Sylvia left her town and has been wandering the world since then. Due to her upbringing and personality that seemingly contradicts itself, Sylvia is also mildly eccentric. This is mostly limited to trying things that no one else would try. So if it wasn't life-threatening, then Sylvia would try a seemingly nonsensical option to solve a problem, as well as take options most wouldn't. So if she was given food that was obviously poorly cooked and disgusting, then she would eat it because no one else would take that option, and it would be interesting to see the results.

While wandering, Sylvia has become experienced in actual life-or-death battles because of the missions she went through as a mercenary. Sylvia mostly survives by using the money she earns from her missions, but when needed, she can also sell things she finds while wandering around. Her skills at mercantilism come in handy when doing that. Because of this though, Sylvia has the rather odd habit of collecting a lot of strange things she finds in caves or woods she comes across.(This is more or less to lampshade the strange tendency in RPG's for the main character to take EVERYTHING they get their hands on.) She doesn't actually steal things though, since her training as knight taught her that it was wrong.

At the age of 22, Sylvia is still traveling as a mercenary, and continues to improve her fighting skills each day.

Though he is quite able on his own, he has a terrible sense of direction and quickly becomes lost without his sister. Is quite curious, and has a short attention span.

While no concrete evidence has been found, he is believed to be either investigating, or part of the mysterious organization Desperaux is tracking.

When he was 10 , a large group of marauders attacked him, and buried the boy in a tomb at the top of the world.
There he sat, frozen solid in ice, for the longest time, contemplating the universe. One day he was freed by 3 explorers. He killed them instantly, and wandered the wastes of cold.
The time and cold froze his eyes and hair into a deep shade of purple, but his skin tone remained normal. He chiseled a blade out of ice, and it, too, was corrupted by him.
When the corruption inside him cooled, he made his way back to the mainland, killing people
for amusement. Never caught.
One day he became bored of this too, and took residence in the city of Sakoruu.
When the war broke out, a smile crept across his lips.
He was only a boy. But he could fight.

He took his father's original surname and had two children, Ciclely and Jarod. Ramsey is a kind ruler but he knows when he needs to be strict. He can be somewhat stubborn at times and sometimes jumps into things without thinking them through.

Base tasks like paperwork are shrugged off to his subordinates. He has a sharp mind and quick wit, both aiding in him earning his position of Colonel in the military. However, despite Marcello's outward attitude, he is fiercely loyal to those whom he trusts and who trust him.

Marcello has served in many wars, aiding the efforts of Sakoruu. His fierce fury in battle and sharpened brains proving to be a great asset in battle. To some, Marcello is even seen as a war hero; however he views himself far differently. In one bloody conflict the majority of his unit were lost and the finale of the battle resulted in the burning of an entire village, taking enemy forces and innocents with it.

Bio: Born in the capital of Albus, Argan was schooled at the university of Albus, where he mastered in the theory and practical application of the darker magic arts.
After departing from the university at the age of 21, Argan immediately left the city, travelling to the second largest city of Albus, Maravor, where he started a business there, dealing in the hire and usage of Assassins, hitmen, and bodyguards.
Argan slowly expanded his program, creating a network of information centres all hiring out assassins and selling information to those who can pay.
He is now a rich man, living in seclusion and communicating indirectly with most of his workers through magic, as there are many who would have him killed.
Argan is a powerful dark mage, who moves to almost any place of his choosing through the opening of a dark portal. He can only maintain one portal at a time, not for very long, and it is taxing on his Mana. (Or whatever you want to call it)
He can best most but not all enemies with his magic, his gun, or a combination of both, but rarely needs to.

Weapon of Choice: Switch-blades mounted on the back of her hands. The blades are on top of armoured gloves and are controlled by taught elastic chords running through hollow shafts in the gloves. When Arleen balls her hands into fists, the blades snap into place. If she flips a little switch on the swivelling base of the blades, they will not flip out when her hands are balled into fists.
When Arleen is not using her switch-blades, she just uses her fists. She is a exceptionally skilled martial artist, a master of two different forms and learning two more.
Bio: Arleen was born in the capital of Sakoruu, as the only child of a trained assassin. From the age of four, she was instructed in the art of killing with her hands, or her switch-blades.
One day, at the age of nineteen, Arleen's father did not return from his latest contract, and she went looking for him, only to find that he had been shot dead by a mugger on the way to the job.
