"No!" shouted Spider-Man as the final gunshot rang out, ending Kazooie's life. He quickly rolled to the ground. He saw where the fireballs had caused Dahlia to land. And now she was going to pay. 

He took one last look at Kazooie's body. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." he uttered, a tear falling from inside the mask.

"Now. This is personal." he uttered aloud. He quickly began web-zipping to Dahlia's location, at his maximum speed. Enjoy your time out while you can, murderess.

For some reason Laharl was not responding and just standing there and not giving her the necklace. Dahlia had to take things into her own hands before the weird man in blue and red with webs kicked her butt. She took the necklace and put it on. Her pain went away. She felt a little weird. Next she decided to focus on her broken arm. She couldn't heal it. But she could replace it with the metals of her suit. Her suit generated a metal left arm with her gun back. The rapier Marth had used and touched her with appeared as a bayonet on her gun since it was made of metal. She generated another gun with a bayonet on her right arm. She was ready to fight. She was prepared for the inevitable. But she thought she might as well try to lie her way out of this.
"Listen moron, I did you a favour, I got rid of that stupid loud-mouthed bird. It really doesn't know when to shutup. It even told me it was working for some guy named Wilfre and other stupid things!"
Dahlia had read about Wilfre when she first got here because Crossover Central made sure she knew who she was up against. (Wait. Dahlia had a better idea.)
"Hey wait a minute. Aren't you friends with Sonic? I heard about what happened to him. Tell you what, if we forget this ever happened I'll help you save him. Deal?"
Dahlia was snickering on the inside hoping she would become more powerful if she came in contact with the symbiote. What she didn't know is that it did just that, but for a price.

Laharl, still oblivious to the fight around him, kept eating. He then heard Dahlia speak about wanting the necklace.
Certain memories rose to him of a certain angel... Who warned him of doing this. That if he kept doing this, he would surely regret it...
Eh, what's the harm, he thought. He's the Overlord of the Netherworld! Nothing would be able to stop him! ...Except Etna.
He held his hand to his heart and concentrated. In the duration of 10 seconds, he turned around and revealed to Dahlia a white necklace with a greenish demon symbol in the middle of it.

"Put this on, and you'll feel no pain until you take it of--WHAT THE HELL?!"



He just noticed the people invading the place that were attempting to attack Dahlia.

Kazooie heard some sounds nearby. Other people had come. So they had followed after all? She wasn't fighting alone. But it was too late... in a sudden, final burst of pain, she felt a bullet rip its way through her throat. She made a sound that was something like a choke on her own blood and something like a screech or a squawk. Her head fell to the side and she breathed no more.

Norman drove along the road until he saw What looked to be Spider-Man and Marth. He quickly parked the car on the side of the road, Pulled out his gun and rushed over to the house. He noticed someone was on the ground...

"I've gotta hurry!"

Banjo had searched all over Spiral Mountain but he just couldn't find Kazooie any where. In fact, he had searched Showdown Town and flown to the Isle o' Hags via plane just to make sure. Yet, he ended up sitting atop Cauldron Keep with not a breegul to his name, his chin in his paws.

"Where's she gone off to? Come on Kazooie, this isn't funny. I've looked all over for..." before Banjo could continue talking to himself in vain atop the tower, he was gone in a flash of light and reappeared sitting on a rock mere meters from his friend's corpse, in Crossover Central "...you?"

The prince of Altea had a rather troubled look on his face... he had failed to save someone. He had made a promise never to let something like this happen again... not after one of the greatest heroes he knew had died, and he couldn't do anything to save him. Now Kazooie was dead... Marth only hoped she hadn't suffered too painful a death. The fact that a talking bear had now just shown up did little to distract him. Marth regretted not possessing the healing capabilities his sister, Elice, had. An idea suddenly hit Marth... why not use the Aum Staff once she got back home? The prince of Altea's hopes were crushed however, when he realized that if he did that, Kazooie would likely never return to her home.

Marth knew that this fight wasn't going to be easy, but he had allies with him. Once again, memories of the past kept resurfacing in the young prince's mind. Marth stepped back slightly, trying to get some distance. A mage would be very beneficial here... unfortunately for the prince, he was not a mage. Marth changed his stance slightly, now in a far more defensive stance. The Shield of Seals protected him well, and he was ready to quickly strike with his Rapier when the time was right. He was noticeably more serious now... it was rather strange. The prince of Altea was not angry, but it seemed as though he was now capable of more. "You have drawn the blood of the innocent... I will not allow that to continue. Too many innocent people have died by the hands of the wicked... I only hope that you see the error in your ways."

"Oh, it's the moron who wouldn't believe me. You really are a moron, you couldn't even save one of your best friends. How pathetic. And you couldn't even manage to avenge her when you had the chance. You sliced my arm off, I'll give you that. But you still fail Marthy. You know, maybe this wouldn't of happened if you would've trusted me. We could've gone back to Archanea and had a happy life together, but you denied me. I'm glad though because I don't want to be with someone who fails! How can anyone woman ever count on you for anything? You disgust me! I'm glad I'm with Laharly now. He treats me better than you despicable filth!"

"Words aren't going to save you!" Norman said as he finally made it and drew his gun on Dahila. He was going to make sure that she wouldn't hurt anyone else.

"It's over Dahila! I've already called the police. There on there way. Your outnumbered, and you can't escape. Just give up peacefully!"
