Welcome to Proprius, a modest town of modest people. But this town has secrets. Two groups are at war with eachother. The Virtues and the Vices are underground groups that are fighting over order in the city using an odd form of war: superbeings. People that were born with amazing powers. The Virtues are trying to protect the city, using their abilities to prevent an uprising of the evil Vices, who want to control the city using their abilities. The Virtues are constatnly trying to keep the superbeings out of the public eye, and they are always recruiting. This is your part. You take control of the secret superbeings, and it is your choice from there: become a Vice or a Vritue?

As players, you must create a superbeing: somebody born with incredible and unnexplainable powers. You enter the city of Proprius as these superbeings, and keep yourself out of the public eye as you live your life. Both the Virtues and the Vices may attmept to recruit you, if you don't go to them first. After that, you can either attempt the destruction or the safekeeping of Proprius and the world.

-The Prison: The jailhouse, where the Vice HQ is hidden. Upon being shown either Malus' business card or the Vice badge, the guard will allow people in.

DAY 1
-------

Leon Oscar wandering the streets, warmed a poor family’s fire. Then the evil Vice, Malus left his residence and strolled about the town who is followed by Clayblue. Malus finds Leon and pursues him to an alley. In the meantime, Sawyer killed a man for his ring and ran away and bumped into Shayne Essotas who was drinking a coffee, minding his own business. She apologized and gave him her phone number to buy him a new pair of pants and then continued running away since she was now pursued by a group of men and an angry Shayne demanding an explanation.

After offering Leon to join the Vices, Malus is interrupted by Clayblue which allowed Leon to escape but Malus cornered him and offered both of them to join the Vices, which Clayblue accepted (if half the world was made sapphire) and Leon declined. Frustrated at Leon’s decline, Malus demonstrated his powers, and made a hole in a nearby building which revealed Sawyer, still followed by Shayne, snooping on them . Clayblue offered her a sapphire to go away.

Then Leon fought back against Malus and Bonum arrived. After being threatened by Bonum, Malus disappeared but left behind four invitation cards which were to be shown to the prison guard for acceptance as a Vice. One of them Leon burnt to a crisp. Bonum gave Leon his card instead which was to be shown at the courtroom for acceptance as a Virtue and Leon made plans to go there.

Sawyer took a vice card and made plans to go to prison, then invited Shayne to dinner later and left for her apartment. Shayne decided to go only to get answers. Clayblue also took a vice card and made plans to go to prison.

Leon made his way to the courtroom and was admitted to the Virtue’s headquarters where he joined them.

Shayne called Sawyer and they agreed to meet at the sushi bar, “Maiko’s Thai” at p.m. Sawyer then made her way to the prison and was admitted to the Vice’s headquarters where she joined them. Clayblue greeted her with a diamond. After training until he was bored, Sawyer invited him to go with her to the sushi bar. So Clayblue escorted Sawyer to the sushi bar.

Rena, in her sadness, went to the graveyard. Lily’s shadow, Lorelei pushed her out of her window into the street below, freeing her. Lily went to the graveyard and greeted Rena, and befriended her. They then decided to go to the Movie Theater.

After winning a court case, Izanami left for her office while Kamiya, sensing super-humans, created a portal in an alley to see beneath the courthouse and spy. Leon noticed a hole in the roof and shot a flame ball at it. In retaliation, Kamiya shot a pebble back at Leon through the portal. Meaning to find what he thought a spy, Leon left and entered the court-house looking for him. Deciding to speak to Leon, Kamiya went in the courthouse and tapped Leon’s shoulder. Cleverly talking his way out of things, Kamiya made to leave before a frustrated Leon yelled at him with suspicion. Kamiya then returned to his office.

Zander Blastingstock woke up and asked a woman who he was. Kamila Sparks recognized him as a tv host and invited him to a nearby restaurant to learn how he was still alive. Apparently he was her boss and they reunited as friends. They then inspected his apartment and then went to the park. They went back to their apartment after realizing they were being pursued by a man but escaped. Later they went to the arcade to find a man with info but were confronted by Carl.

Carl White had his men murder a truck driver for the money in his truck and then drove to a casino and pulled a stick-up but the one he seeked escaped. He confronted Kamila and Zander. Then Kamiya and Izanami went to the arcade and met Kamila, Zander, and Carl but Carl decided to leave. Carl then began driving around looking for the one he sought and intentionally attracted police. Leon then arrived looking for Vices. Shaw who was already investigating the commotion, agreed to go with Kamiya to his office to discuss business. Shaw agreed to investigate Leon. Izanami then led Shaw to Leon back at the arcade where they confronted him and agreed to go to the Virtue’s headquarters.

After finishing with two patients, Samuel greeted Angela, his friend Alex’s wife, who asked him to go see Alex upon which Samuel agreed to. Then Hobo walked into the hospital.

At the Virtue’s headquarters, Leon, Izanami, Kamiya, Shaw, Kamila, and Zander met Dr. Bonum. Izanami and Kamiya got the information they wanted and then decided to meet Mr. Malus despite Bonum’s warnings. Bonum then explained that originally a superhero orphanage existed and Malus was in affiliation but created the Vices in his anger. Shaw decided to join the Virtues.


Rena and Lily then confronted Dr. Malus near the graveyard where Malus attempted to manipulate Lily’s shadow lorelei. Lily then was overcome, even consumed by Lorelei and both Malus and Lorelei threatened Rena. Picking up Rena’s scent of blood, Izanami led Kamiya to the group at the graveyard. Rena then pinned Lorelei with the blood on him but Lorelei fought back. Malus left to go do something. Izanami, Lorelei, and Rena then engaged in a fight and later Izanami attacked Malus but Malus left Izanami and Kamiya severely injured before retreating to his headquarters with Lorelei. Rena then decided to join neither team. Izanami and Kamiya then went home. Rena then went home.

Malus and Lorelei then encountered Shayne in the Alleys where Shayne joined the Vices in exchange to have the bank. Shayne then went home.

DAY 2

Izanami woke up and went to the Virtue’s headquarters. She offered to join the Virtues if they would make her stronger and joined. A Virtue named Sirius took the reluctant Izanami under her wing and they trained together.

Leon woke up and went to the “Bean Lately” coffee shop where Hellen then lured him to Bick’s Diner and attacked him. Hellen lost and retreated after saving Leon from being crushed by a fallen chandelier and freezing his phone but also before crashing into Carl’s car. Kamiya then stepped onto the scene and him and Leon quickly became buddies, sharing each other’s life-stories. Leon agreed to investigate Hellen and decided that finding out more about Malus would be a good idea; when Leon had found out, he would contact his new lawyer, Kamiya. Leon then observed a missing poster for Lily. The poster was then taken by Maria who decided to take the case.

Nero began looking for a six-fingered man. He rode a motorcycle past Kamiya and crashed into a semi-truck before flying away. Kamiya called the police. Sirius then stopped training Izanami and left to investigate but Izanami demanded to come too.

Floyd, Rena’s brother, began wondering Proprius to find his lost memories after being recognized by an old man. He went to the Proelio tower. Maria went to the Proelio tower to look for clues and clients. Floyd and Maria then teamed up to find Lily when a man (Mr. Mac Guffin) approached them, recognizing Lily in the poster. Nero then flew down to the tower. Guffin told Floyd and Maria of seeing Lily and Rena at the graveyard. At the graveyard, they discovered the evidence left behind of a brawl that went down amongst supers. They then learned that the other had super-powers. Maria then questioned Floyd’s motives and Floyd revealed that Rena should be dead and he himself was curious. He also revealed that he was a servant to Rena’s family (the Lanos family) and was her brother’s double. They decided to visit the Lanos mansion for more clues. Nero threw his muffler onto Guffin who was struck unconscious. Nero then flew into an alleyway.

Carl crawled out of his car and was surrounded by police but Hellen numbed them and greeted Carl before the car exploded on them. Hellen rescued Carl and he booed her.

Floyd and Maria entered the Lanos mansion without trouble. They found Rena asleep on a couch and Maria woke her up. Rena didn’t recognize Floyd and registered them as thieves and attempted to kill them as a puddle of blood moved toward Rena and Maria but Floyd slashed it with a materialized dagger in his hand. Maria, with eccentricity, discovered that the girl was Rena and began asking questions about Lily. Rena refused to answer and Maria threatened to arrest her if she didn’t cooperate. Floyd then tried to talk sense to her. He explained that he was her brother’s double but still truly cared for her. Rena then described the super-battle she had previously engaged in and about Lorelei’s overcoming Lily and about Malus and his vices, oh and Kamiya and Izanami too. Floyd then demanded Maria explain herself and they demonstrated each other’s powers.

At the shopping district, they met Kamiya at the incident Nero caused. Izanami picked up Nero’s scent and determined he was super-human. They walked for another little while and met up with Maria, Rena, and Floyd. Maria then told them about the case she was investigating and asked to meet Malus. Kamiya then questioned Maria as to her true identity but Maria denied it futilely. Kamiya then offered a trade of information but it ended up with Kamiya spilling his beans for naught. He told her how Lily was overtaken. Izanami and Kamiya left to go chase after Nero.

Watt arrived at the graveyard and put his flowers down at his parents’ grave, he then called Kamila.

Then Maria decided to go but she was confronted by a mysterious girl, guised under a hood and cloak with sunglasses. The girl threatened to kill both Maria and Floyd if they didn’t stop searching for Lily. After Maria recognized the girl for what she was, Lorelei revealed herself. Lily then made out some squeals for help through her own overtaken body, revealing the location, under the prison before Lorelei ran off past the cemetery. Understanding their mission, they pursued the rescue of the girl, Lily Dellaney.

Noticing Lorelei dashing by him, Watt yelled at her, hoping not to get his suit ruined. They later decided to arrive at the court-house and they did so.

Nero decided to stay in a hotel after crash-landing in a garbage dump. Kamiya and Izanami couldn’t pick up his scent after he disguised in the garbage dump, however the garbage man tipped them off that Nero was at the Hotel. As Nero complained about Hotel prices, Dr. Malus offered him a card. Awakening, Schrodinger asks Nero for change before receiving a kick to the gut. Malus offered both the super-beings Vice positions. Nero decided to test the Vice group to see if he liked it. After Malus disintegrated Schrodinger’s burnt chair-leg, he revealed to Nero that his Monocle allowed him to tell apart the normal people from the super-humans. So then both Schrodinger and Nero became Vices for the moment.

Maria and Floyd then met up with Mr. Bonum. They were offered to become Virtues but they were unsure of it. Bonum thought he recognized Maria, but she denied it. However, he had agreed to supply Maria and Floyd help.

Izanami and Kamiya then reached the Hotel and decided to plow through it with a garbage truck to get Nero. Jumping out of the truck, Izanami’s claws came face to face with Nero’s guns. Then Schrodinger lit the leaked oil from the truck on fire and it exploded before Malus absorbed it and shot a shadow wave at Kamiya and Izanami but Kamiya had it portaled to nowhere with a giant portal. After Izanami and Nero engaged in close combat, Malus absorbed a wall and turned his umbrella into a sword-like thing. Nero called Schrodinger a hippie for not doing anything and he punched him. Izanami beat up Nero some more, and then Schrodinger jumped on her and scraped her back as she broke free. After defeating Nero, Izanami went after Malus and Kamiya. Malus then tried to collapse the building on them and he and Schrodinger ran off together. Kamiya escaped through a portal. Nero and Izanami were buried under the rubble, but Malus escavated Nero and then Nero escavated Izanami. Malus then revealed he’d strike into the heart of the city; he was going to destroy Proelio tower. After hearing this, Izanami bolted away to find Maria and Floyd. They then decided to take her to the hospital.

Nero and Schrodinger went to the blackmarket to buy ammo for his guns. In an alleyway, Schrodinger brought Nero to his companion to do black business.

Nyhm then left his newfound bakery and saw Lorelei passing him. He decided to pester her with his presence and followed her to Proelio tower to see Malus.

Name: Carl White. (More people know him as White.)

Appearance: Carl is 27 years old. He wear a black suit which curves in at the lower rib area and curves back out just passed his waist. He wear a pair of slick black shades. He has short black hair and green eyes.

Superpower: Reactive Evolution. Carl's mutation is in a state of continual reaction, adapting to whatever his current situation demands.

For example, if placed in total darkness his eyes automatically adapt to allow him to see; if underwater he grows functioning gills; if exposed to fire his body becomes fireproof; if falling, his bones soften & his body elasticizes to cushion his landing; or if exposed to the void of space, he stops requiring oxygen & the density of his skin & internal structure increase.

His mutation's adaptivity seems limitless; however, he lacks conscious control, & his adaptations are purely instinctive. Thus far, Carl's mutation has not displayed any capacity for generating energy beyond converting his physical form into same. It has also afforded him a genius-level intellect, and he has shown the capacity to learn new skills & languages with only limited exposure.

Occupation: Carl owns and runs Proprius's biggest casino named Silver river. Though he doesn't play fair in his line of work. Carl has had the casino games rigged so it is near impossible to win. And when someone finaly does win he has a group of muggers waiting outside to steal the money back. Sure there are always little wins but that's to just keep the people there.

Backstory: Carl didn't grow up in this town, he was born and raised cities away. His father and Mother were involved in a massive scam and they gained millions while it lasted. Only three years after the scam his Father was caught and brought into questioning. Carl was quickly rushed from the city, If he was caught the police would easily have enough evidence to keep his Mother and Father in jail for years. Carl has learnt to forget about his family but slowly took there place, scamming and conning people.

Years passed, everything was thought to be okay for Carl then when he least expected it the police came running through his door. Guns at the ready. Carl stood no chance, he ran and ran as fast as he could. He made it to a boat of his and set sail into open waters. Days passed and he slightly calmed. But the next mourning held another surprise. His yacht was guned down and his body was never found. The police searched for days but the harsh condition caused them to back away. On his journey through the water Carl discovered his power.

Carl washed up in the Town of the Extraordinary. For three years now he has been making a living here.

Name: Alphonso Vinche

Appearance: Given his power, Al's true form is unknown; it would not be a leap to say that even his name was falsified. The form he takes as a default, of sorts is of a 20 year old man. He is tall, skinny and moderately pale. He keeps his hair short and parted across his forehead. On his chin lies a permanent stubble, and his eyes seem bleak and soulless. He wears a large, covering black trench coat and a black fedora shading his face. 

Superpower: Alphonso has the ability of shapeshifting. Given a small bit of someone's DNA he can replicate their form and appear to be that person. Though he does not inherit that person's powers or skills, just their appearance and voice. 

Occupation: Unemployed. 

Backstory: Who Alphonso is, and how he came to be where he is now is unknown by all. Throughout the years, Al has taken too many forms and too many names to be able to call himself his true name. However, he does remember the catalyst that started him on this life. 

His father was a criminal attorney, a prosecutor to be exact. He took charge and sought to bring order to the streets his family called "home." He fought to reduce crime, and put away criminals, and he was largely successful in his quest. However one night, when the moon had peaked in the starless sky, a loud crack rang through the family home. A street-gang burst in and began to ransack the house. Tearing it apart to find the lawyer. The kid just hid underneath his sheets, pretending to sleep, and taking small peaks from beneath his covers. It was during one of these peaks he saw his father being assaulted by the gangsters. Punches, kicks, swings of baseball bats, all used to try and punish the man who tres to bring order to the world. The kid just lay there and watched. Watched as knife was pressed against his fathers throat, and sliced through it. He lay there as his mother was thrown to the floor and violated in unspeakable ways. And he lay there and watched as they moved towards him, slowly but surely. The blade still gleaming with his father's blood. 

"Yo Jimmy, lez get a move on 'ere. Now ain't the time ta be nappin'." The knife wielder said, and he left the boy, his gang following. The boy stood out of bed and looked in the mirror; standing before him was the spitting image of one of the gangsters. The one that held his mother down while the others went about their business. The kid done walked out that day, and ain't never looked back. He learned bout his powers, and what they do to you. He doesn't care if he should hide them, he'll do whatever he can to finally bring justice for his father and mother. Six years in the making, his strike must be perfect. So perhaps cover won't be the worst choice after all...

I'm having troubles thinking of what my character's power should be, so I might take some time making my own.

Name: Shayne Essotas. (Code-name Harbinger)

Appearance:

Superpower: Shayne has the power to turn invisible. It makes him undetectable by almost any means. This includes sight, infrared, thermal, X-ray, heartbeat sensors, and motion trackers. The only way to know his location is to use high-tech noise sensors to hear his dampened footsteps.

Occupation: Gun for hire, working for either the Vice, Vritue, or anyone else who pays - whichever pays the most.

Backstory: Born in Maine, Shayne's power was discovered at the age of four, when he would go 'missing' for hours. After medical analysis a set of experimental treatments were used to suppress his powers, and make him forget they ever existed.
Eventually, Shayne's family moved away, to the city of Proprius. At the age of seventeen the treatments started to wear off, and Shayne's power returned, along with his memories of it.

Rather than confront his parents over the matter, Shayne thought about the power long and hard, realizing it's potential for warfare and combat.
He attended the University of Proprius, taking courses in military history and weapons, while taking exterior tutoring in acrobatics and gymnastics.
Shayne's parents, suspicious that he had rediscovered his powers, confronted him after graduation. However, he merely turned invisible, and abandoned his family.

With his new training, Shayne took to the streets, using silenced weapons, freerunning/parkour, and his invisibility to kill for money.
His altered perspective of life makes Shayne indifferent to the concept of good and evil. He kills or protects for money, and does not care if the targets is good or evil. All that really matters is the money, which he uses for his own gain, such as new weapons, or objects for his penthouse apartment.

I made his super power the way it is, because I realized that anyone with any moderate kind of scope on their gun would be able to find him, making his power useless. So... now you would need to be specifically looking for Shayne to find him, and need the exact right machine.

Is the fact that He is already involved, but 'technically' neutral allowed? I thought it would make for a better character.

Backstory: Leon was shunned by his parents since he was twelve when they discovered his powers over fire. After that, he left home and wandered through the streets, keeping his powers out of the eyes of his shunners. He eventually found himself in Proprius, and he made his home there for 5 years now. The war between the Vices and Virtues has surfaced, and he is unsure what to do in the battle.

Who am I? Why the names Clayblue Mathews. Glad to meetcha.

I can tell your amazed at my look. A tall white man all dressed in sapphire blue. Yup, from top hat to monocle, to coat and pants to my tap dancing shoes I'm all covered in a wonderful blue. Also admire my beautiful sapphire i stick right on top my staff. It's a beauty isn't it? Why blue? I'll get to that later.

My powers? why you must have some good ears to know about me having powers but because your a well informed chap I'll let you in on it. You see these gloves? I where them for a reason. If I touch anything I gain there physical and chemical properties. Aside from these gloves. Imagine if i touched diamond I would be unable to be cut unless it was with another diamond. Or if i touched rubber I would be flexible and immune to shock. Its a bit of a wild card power but it can come in handy at the right time.

Occupation? Why my good friend I'm an auctioneer. I find valuable items and auction them off. Of course I do get about 10% of what is sold consider it a fee for me being to assure you get a good price.

Ah, so you want to know about my back story? Well I'll tell you. Supposedly I was born in a cave of Sapphires although it might have been Amethyst I don't remember. But my mother said i was born in a puddle of clay and remember my powers? So i pretty much became clay like and all that so they named my Clay but then changed it to Clayblue after the cave. Anyway I've lived a pretty luxuriousness life style and I haven't had a bunch of sad sack stories. But in the past i did used to be a miner I mean where else to get sapphires than at the mines themselves. It was a heated place got into a few scrapes but that's all in the past. So lets all chin up and enjoy our day to day am i right? Or am I right?
