The Never-Ending TurnaboutAhh, the sweet feeling of victory. You've proven how it was possible for the witness to commit the crime. In fact, it could only have been him according to decisive evidence. He's on the verge of a breakdown. The judge is about to declare his NOT GUILTY verdict. There's simply no way for a comeback. All that's left is- Whaaaat? V-Video tapes that show he wasn't at the crime scene? A bunch of photos giving a perfect alibi? The evidence I presented was illegal? And he keeps going. Why does it suddenly look bad for me again!? --- TaskIn this competition, I don't want the culprits to give up that easily. In fact, they should be as persistent (or stubborn) as possible. Whether it be through aces they had been hiding up their sleeves all along or just desperate excuses they made up on the spot. Any possible attempt (only limited by your creativity) to work their way out works, and the more the better. Make Quercus Alba look like a poor joke! I will not exclude the possibility that this could also be done in a comedic way. Conditions- The entry must have been created between July 26, 2012 and October 26, 2012.
- The entry must not be showcased until October 27.
- The entry must have a culprit persistently or stubbornly trying to avoid conviction by any means.
- The entry may be a comedic case.
- The entry may contain GK2 sprites, but no story spoilers beyond the first case.
DeadlineOctober 26, 2012, 00:00 CET. Also known as midnight. Not going to be strict, but once I wake up on the 27th and check the forums, game over. BTW, what dahell, why would time zones influence durations, these rules are just flaws... <_< Look, I can't exactly check where everyone is located and say their timezone applies for their deadline. And if I just go with Central European Time it'd be unfair for the Americans. If I go with their time it'd be unfair for whoever is even more to the west. So I go with this. There's really no reason to be too strict imo. Well, a more precise deadline might be better after all. What does everyone think?

An Alba competition. Approved.
(Pairs probably totally put you in the mood for this)

The purpose of the test is to test whether you have an understanding of the material, not if you've simply memorized it and can regurgitate it. In fact, I'm sure the reason he put the 'trick questions' on the test was in order to see who understood the material and was paying attention and who was simply memorizing facts without taking the time and effort to actually understand them.

What about changes in local time due to special relativity from moving near the speed of light?
