As for whether you're allowed to make a continuation of a previous entry... personally, I have nothing against it, as that wouldn't prevent your case from fitting the theme of the competition.
However, I didn't make the rules about competitions in general, so it doesn't just depend on me.
I'd go as far as to advocate allowing sequels of all kinds... we've seen how these comps can motivate people, so if that motivation can be used for their series it'd be good for everyone. But that's just my opinion.

A loophole can be created. It's like, I feel like it has the potential to be a series, but not yet. So it's technically not a series, but I could turn it into one after this entry.
But I would like some clarification. If not... I'll settle for something else. Doing serious trials are pretty fun, actually. I'm sure I can come up with something unexpected in the turns of life... (...reference....)

I'd wait for Meph's ruling on your situation, Lady Sama. That rule isn't clear for sequels created as a result of competition threads...
Ryu's, however, is set in stone.

Three things: One, we must be on the same brainlength, cuz when Deigo and I were in the last comp., I thought of this as a possible theme idea to suggest to Diego. Two, I'm in a performing competition IRL, and one of the rules is to have an unexpected surprise ending (in our case a dragon comes and eats the major plot device). The regional comp is this month. Funny, huh? Three, WOULD ANYBODY LIKE TO COLLABORATE WITH ME? Still don't have Firefox, and my sis HIGHLY uggests I don't get it. We're paranoid, I know. But seriously, ANY COLLABS?
