Like I said before, it's currently being revamped, so bear with us, players.
(Oh, and TRs, please don't start the official review until I say it's done, 'kay?)

c'mon a blizzard isn't the end of the world >_>
No examine convo for blue badger? >_>
Uh... I don't think you can have multiple storms at the same place. If you have multiple storms at one place, I think it's just one really big storm. And as long as Edgey is safe in a house or lodge or something I don't know what the big deal is...
And Gummy doesn't react to the super-insulting nickname at all...
Screw border patrol! We'll just fly right to Canada! ;D
So Edgey IS safe and sound ~_~
Let's go outside during a blizzard yaaaaaay~ Wait what happened to the blizzard o.O
random!Larry okay then...

Investigation:
This background is kinda, uh, weird for this o.O Also it looks like it's not quite wide enough
FLYING A HELICOPTER INTO A FIRE CAN'T POSSIBLY GO WRONG
Wow Edgeworth didn't have any reaction to a bunch of people showing up in a helicopter
Why is Edgey the main sprite for talking to Larry?
"Nothing to do with this murder" Who said it was a murder? .__. Also can't see the locks o.O And why can Polly see the locks?
Why are you flashing through Gummy, Trucy, and Klavi-poo? They weren't even in Canada when the arson started o.O
This background needs to be a bit wider, too
Riiiiiiiiight because a bunch of random lawyers from another country can totaly stop the police from arresting someone
Wasn't Oldbag just in the room with us? o.O
Stealing Blackrune's jokes, are we?
What skills have we displayed so far? ^^'
Floating body logic battle yay~
Aaaaaaaaugh typewriterrrrrrrrrrrr
The music should stop before the "OBJECTION!". Lame contraction ~_~ It's obvious he meant that Larry was the only one there at the time of the crime, and Edgey arrived after. Tried to present the igniter, to say that just b/c Larry was there when the fire started doesn't mean he's the one who started the fire, but... guess not.
Stealing Gunpei's jokes, are we?
Sure took them a while to find this guy o.O
Attempted murder? Isn't it some sort of criminally negligent... iunno, not murder though .__.
Since when can Polly's bracelet deal with Psych-Locks? o.O
When did we learn the victim's name?
It's not a murder ~_~
Wait when was there a gag order?
"In the forest, near the victim" Then how come he didn't find the victim when he found the wallet?!
"You know the name of the murderer! It's Larry Butz!" that's a really weird way to accuse Larry o.O
Wait. The attempted murder was separate from the arson? wut?
"Client" When did we even take Larry's case? When did Larry even get arrested?! (Wasn't there a big deal about how he wasn't o.O)
Wait, didn't we just establish that Larry did it? Why is Polly trying to argue with Riley and Edgey about it?

Trial Former:
...I still don't remember Larry being arrested
...Or us becoming Larry's lawyer
...And why exactly can an American attorney represent someone in Canadian court?
You'd think they'd have a Canadian detective, but...
It's not a murdeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer
The life bar doesn't refill between parts? Lame
Wow that reference to "Everything has a price" felt really forced and out of place
When did we establish that Larry owned the screwdriver? ...When did we concretely establish that the murder weapon was the screwdriver? ...How does a screwdriver establish a bruise?
So, uh, why didn't the box burn, and why didn't the bombs explode?
>"forcefield" wut
>expert at making bombs. totally not suspicious
Why does Polly's mouth move even when speaking...?
How did he stumble upon a beehive in his bathtub yesterday when he was in the hospital? .__.
So he made all the evidence related to the arson. Whatevs >_>
What does the fact that he didn't make the screwdriver have to do with anything?
Wait, so he recognized his handiwork, but not his 'client'? >_>
Not letting us point out the contradiction. Lame =\

Trial Middle:
You, um, don't have to warn us about the cross-examination music...
That background gag was really strange and out of place
So how come an American prosecutor can randomly take over a Canadian trial?
Well Oldbag was a colossal waste of time
Explode with ice. wut?
He was a witness. That's why he knew about the evidence. If he tripped over the wallet, of course he'd know about it
I'm still not sure what difference it makes if the screwdriver was made or store-bought...
Stealing Blackrune's music, are we?
If you picked up his wallet, why was it just found by itself?
Wait he's not wearing gloves .__.
Typewriterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The lifebar is still flashinggggggggggg
Your fingerprints don't prove that they're your gloves...?
You should probably shouldn't auto-advance on the frame with the password

Trial Latter:
"He has to be the killer!" Isn't he the one who was, uh, attacked? (not killed o.O)
There's still nobody dead, so it's not murder... >_>
Wait I thought Larry was going to testify
How do you suffocate someone with a screwdriver? And why didn't Larry have any injuries or whatever? Or ever say something about being knocked unconscious?
Larry is really OOC ~_~
Wait, why is Klavier cross-examining Larry? And if we want this testimony crushed because it's all lies, why are we supposed to interfere with Klavier's cross-examination?
"Just because I got a letter telling me to carry out this crime doesn't mean I did! It's definitely a coincidence that some other random person came out of nowhere and did the exact same crime I was supposed to do!" >_>
Wait what was that towel doing there anywhere .__.
First of all, didn't Larry admit to attacking Ius? And second, of course Shade forced Ius to commit the crime. Didn't we already know that from the card?
Wait, the card telling Ius to be at the scene of the crime at the time of the crime doesn't prove that it wasn't just a coincidence?
Stealing Capcom's jokes, are we?
"What piece of evidence proves that a third person committed the arson?" Wait I thought Ius committed the arson .__. (but was forced to do it by 'Shade')
Wait how do we know that the timer was fast forwarded? And when did we find out that Ius is wearing a fireproof jacket? And how did that protect his head and hands? And even if Shade shortened the timer, isn't it still Ius who set up the bombs and thus caused the arson?
The glove was already analyzed, and they found Ius's fingerprints on it. Why didn't they find the gloveprints on the gloves when they analyzed it before?
This isn't blackmail or extortion...
Wait he was in the hospital and stuff, when did he have time to set up bombs and whatnot?

Conclusion:
That ladder/gun thing was really random o.O
Typewriterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Well the fact that all our evidence is gone makes this present pretty easy

- Seeing as how this is the only completed trial... you have one thing going for you.
-'Sup with no timers in this introduction?
-Wow. No caller I.D.?
-OH NOSE A BLIZZARD
-"After all, if he is given the wrong verdict..." No offense, but I can't help but find that as a generic sentence.
-All of a sudden he gets bad reception?
-"Edgeworth!? What happened!?" Surely this didn't have anything to do with the bad reception Edgeworth said he had.
-Uh... why cornered music?
-Notice how the witness shouts with a smile on his face~
-Whoa! That was one whitty Payne comment!
-He... faints?
-HURR HE DID
-Wait: Wouldn't Trucy and Apollo been notified that their father/friend collapsed during a middle of a trial? Seems like something you wouldn't overlook.
-Sure. Tell him not to scare you in his your head. He'll remember that one for sure.
-Hm... if he collapsed, why would he win? He'd need... medical attention.
-Technically, the defense can't postpone the trial if they lack evidence. If the case lacks evidence, however...
-Why was he so shocked at a blizzard?
-Why wouldn't you hear that he retook the bar exam? You work with him... :|
-Wtf flying colors?
-How can your forge a test?
-Obviously you passed the test if you're defending someone.
-OH NO BLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZARD. Honestly, I don't see why this is such a big deal.
-Oh, he's a PROSECUTOR? That changes everything. [/sarcasm]
-It moved in while they're on the phone? Funny... he was talking about there already being a blizzard.
-Dude, it's really stressing me out how exaggerated this is.
-Now we need sad music?
-You know what competent means, right? That's not Gumshoe...
-Then you shouldn't have brought it up, Feenie. And why does he say it with an evil grin?
-Ironically, Gummy showed up.

I'm taking a break, I'll finish this later. But... I'm seeing major problems this early. :side:

Continuation.
Spoiler : :
-Copying character traits like a pro~ Good job with making Gummy the new Ron DeLite
-Yes, he would happen to be Gumshoe. You were just told he's Gumshoe.
-What situation? He's just in a blizzard.
-We've established this is Gumshoe.
-I thought it moved in last night? MAKE UP YOUR MIND! D=
-Dude, it's a blizzard. I cannot stress this enough~
-I'm not sure anything can be worse then a Hurricane Katrina/earthquake combo. That'd mean a lot of people would die, a lot of damage would be spread, and they would have had an evacuation notice ahead of time... but sure. Let's just say it is.
-Two heart attacks in one case?
-Ew! Gumshoe's ugly AAI theme! D=
-Wtf is a breach of trust? :S
-WHAT!? PROSECUTOR GAVIN!? He just comes in out of nowhere?
-Dude, if he can't leave, what's the point in coming?
-Wtf a chopper? Not you're trying to kill him.
-Herr Incompetence is such a cute nickname <3
-Let's take the entire cast while we're at it.
-I thought the chopper was outside?
-I wouldn't be worried about it not flying. I'd be worried about crashing.
-Also, LA to Canada seems like an unreasonably far amount of distance for a helicopter to fly. Not to mention pretty dangerous.
-Of course. Oldbag would be in his room. .____.
-Is there even a purpose to Oldbag?
-You're overusing Oldbag's talking fast.
-Also, in the game, her profile is never referred to as "Wendy Oldbag." It's always "Security Lady."
-Why must I flee my own room?
-Oh my. It looks so threatening outside.
-Was the whole point of Oldbag so that Edgeworth flees outsides only to discover it's sunny?
-Act like you've never seen a helicopter before. O_O
-Oh, nvm. It's a fire in a middle of a blizzard. Much more logical.
-Larry...?
-If your reception is bad, what will make the fire department's better?
-And why the hell are you still talking near a bunch of flames?
-"I don't have a phone, doofus!"

I'll finish it tomorrow.

I'm still not liking what I'm seeing.

Haha, yes I did steal some of Blackrune's jokes.
Gumshoe is already used to the nickname after being called it multiple times by Gavin.
Floating bo-- ...Dypo? Did you have something to do with this?
Haha, yes I did steal some of Gumpei's jokes.
*Stop whining about the typewriter. I'm working on it.*
Larry was arrested off-screen. I should probably explain that, shouldn't I?
Stumbling on a beehive in his bathtub? I dunno, you oughta ask a certain Blue Bomber about that.
Hey, this is Ace Attorney. Besides, von Karma, Edgeworth, and Gavin prosecute in multiple countries, so why not anyone else?
Blackrune's music was just a working theme for harder testimonies. I replaced it with the Presto later.
Well... If Gavin hadn't taken over, the trial would probably have either dragged on for a while (which I don't have time for), or the trial would have ended right there (which we can't have, right).
True, but remember Turnabout Serenade? Crescend couldn't have known about the gunshots unless he was at the scene, so he had to rely on Ema's testimony. The same idea applies here. Trevor couldn't have known about the wallet unless he was involved.
True, but remember Trauma Team? A certain screwdriver grip was thrust into the side of the torso, leaving a bruise. The screwdriver was forced in so deep, that it would pierce the victim's lung, causing pulmonary emphysema, or asphyxiation. The same idea applies here. The screwdriver was thrust deep enough that Trevor would be unable to breath.
Unbelievable. That's what you are, Larry.
Haha, yes I did steal some of Capcom's jokes. (You sure enjoy doing that, don't you?)
They ran a FINGERPRINT analysis, not a GLOVEPRINT analysis. They are QUITE different, indeed.
It is totally blackmail!
Trevor hides a remote control in his pocket. Also, he's a master of explosives, he controlled the bombs to plant themselves all over the courthouse. (Remember the Spider Bombs from Zelda?)
Haha, yes I did steal some of Zeel's jokes.
...Dammit. I knew I shouldn't have been lazy!
...What? No comments on the TwiGav/CardiaX session?

You really should be fixing that stuff as you make the case; it's not that difficult to change the voice when you change the text color. Plus there's also auto-voice

Larry was arrested off-screen. I should probably explain that, shouldn't I?
That, and us actually taking his case.

Hey, this is Ace Attorney. Besides, von Karma, Edgeworth, and Gavin prosecute in multiple countries, so why not anyone else?
I'm assuming they went through the proper channels, and didn't just randomly show up in a country and start to prosecute. ...I also assume they didn't illegally enter the country.

Blackrune's music was just a working theme for harder testimonies. I replaced it with the Presto later.
Then why is Blackrune's music still there?

Well... If Gavin hadn't taken over, the trial would probably have either dragged on for a while (which I don't have time for), or the trial would have ended right there (which we can't have, right).
Uh... the trial DID go on for a while after Gavin took over.

True, but remember Turnabout Serenade? Crescend couldn't have known about the gunshots unless he was at the scene, so he had to rely on Ema's testimony. The same idea applies here. Trevor couldn't have known about the wallet unless he was involved.
Uh... This is a bit different. Crescend was supposedly on-stage at the time of the crime, meaning there should've been no way for him to know. But Ius was in the forest at the time of the crime; he could easily see the wallet. And if he actually tripped over it? Of course he'd know about it.

No, I don't remember Trauma Team. But then why doesn't the screwdriver have blood on it? And that's not "bruising" with the screwdriver. That's "stabbing" with the screwdriver.

Haha, yes I did steal some of Capcom's jokes. (You sure enjoy doing that, don't you?)
Right back at ya

They ran a FINGERPRINT analysis, not a GLOVEPRINT analysis. They are QUITE different, indeed.
IIRC, they apparently ran a fingerprint analysis and found Ius's fingerprints. Then they ran a second fingerprint analysis to find Shade's fingerprints, but instead found gloveprints. Fingerprints and gloveprints might be different, but it was still two fingerprint analyses.

It is totally blackmail!
Blackmail is when you make the demand in exchange for not revealing something bad about the person. It's, ah, coercion! Yeah, that's it.

Trevor hides a remote control in his pocket. Also, he's a master of explosives, he controlled the bombs to plant themselves all over the courthouse. (Remember the Spider Bombs from Zelda?)
They have security for entering the courthouse. I doubt "hiding the remote in your pocket" would be able to bypass that  Also, just because there were self-planting bombs in Zelda, of all things, does not mean you can just put them in AA .__.

Larry was arrested off-screen. I should probably explain that, shouldn't I?

Yeah. I'll do that.

It's not illegal if you use foreign means as a last resort to enter a country.

Blackrune's music was just a working theme for harder testimonies. I replaced it with the Presto later.
Then why is Blackrune's music still there?
Try playing the case again. I fixed it.

Well... If Gavin hadn't taken over, the trial would probably have either dragged on for a while (which I don't have time for), or the trial would have ended right there (which we can't have, right).
Uh... the trial DID go on for a while after Gavin took over.
I meant it as in "multiple days."

True, but remember Turnabout Serenade? Crescend couldn't have known about the gunshots unless he was at the scene, so he had to rely on Ema's testimony. The same idea applies here. Trevor couldn't have known about the wallet unless he was involved.

Remember, only deep enough to knock him unconscious. Not actually kill him.

They weren't looking for gloveprints then, because obviously, you shouldn't find gloveprints in gloves.

It is totally blackmail!
Blackmail is when you make the demand in exchange for not revealing something bad about the person. It's, ah, coercion! Yeah, that's it.
...I think we've reached the end of this conversation.

No, I don't remember Trauma Team. But then why doesn't the screwdriver have blood on it? And that's not "bruising" with the screwdriver. That's "stabbing" with the screwdriver.
Remember, only deep enough to knock him unconscious. Not actually kill him.
It punctured his lung. I'm not sure how much deeper you can get.

They weren't looking for gloveprints then, because obviously, you shouldn't find gloveprints in gloves.
So then why did the find the gloveprints during the second fingerprint analysis? They were looking for Shade's fingerprints the second time, not gloveprints.

Anything's possible in this game. Remember TDG?
1. This isn't TDG. 2. I don't remember moving and self-planting bombs in TDG.

@Dypo de Luna: I'm just kidding.

@Bad Player: Hey, we're still fixing up the trial, you can't expect us to be perfect the first time.

Hey, CardiaX, I'm glad you're no longer bummed out about our review, but I think it might have been best to at least avoid showcasing the court sections yet. It's a great concept, but remember that "F" in presentation. That was a little important, and the main reason you didn't win the comp.

If you don't recall it, I resubmit my eight-minute-long youtube rant to further aid you:

The two most important things: Get your story straight (the crime only happened one way: know what that is, and have everything fit that one version) and explain everything before it becomes important (how the victim was injured should be introduced conclusively a lot earlier).

Still, I think this has the potential to be a great case, but not without some serious effort. If you ever need anything, I'll be happy to help, just send me a PM.

CLC out.

Seriously, the guy did more in one month than all of you did in three.
AND HE JUST JOINED.
That's just heroic.

All of the major editting is starting today and will likely go on for the rest of the week. It is recommended that you don't play the trial until February 1.
