New member here (so be gentle with me) and first I have to say that I have never played a 'real' Ace Attorney game (Hey, I haven't been able to find them at a price I could afford, okay? I'm a poor student), but always wanted to, I googled and found this website, so my knowlage of this game-universe is rather limited. pleasedon'tkillmeNow, the Matt Silver series you have created.. It's fantastic, and so far my faveorite cases, but god damnit it does make me feel retarded sometimes! I was stuck at one place on the first case (it's about 6AM here, I'm sick and I haven't slept, so sorry if I suck at names XD) and when I realized what I needed to do I just felt like banging my head on the wall because it was so OBVIOUS once I knew what to do. And that's a feeling I've had more than once throughout the series because I am just that blind to the obvious sometimes. I've also grown very fond of James, and at the beginning of the third one, I felt like punshing my screen when he made that appearence (besides, I think that character in general looks like the penguin dude from Batman, and that kinda creeps me out <.<) and espesially at his little comment. In the third case I love the stumbles they do (being a major anime geek and all ), it just cracks me up every time. And yes, I've had to stiffle my laughter more than once at those occations (I've seen them a few times, seeing as I mess up the case every now and then >.<) The convention case was interesting, and one of the cases where I felt like a retard every now and then. And oh god the feeling when you get something right! Especially if it's a wild guess on my part All in all, great series. And I WILL come over here and explain if I get stuck again.

Glad to hear you like the series KaiPon. And also that you think the contradictions were obvious once you figured them out - I wouldn't want too much fake difficulty because of contradictions that don't make much sense. As for the part where you're stuck:

Eh... I don't know what's happening here... But I can't figure what to do in "warm-up testimony".

It's interesting to see how differently two people can find a single testimony's difficulty. I see very often that some find a particular one hard while others solved it easily, and then with the next it's exactly the other way round. But anyway, here's a hint:

I'm stuck on the third part of case 3, probably because I'm too lazy to replay the first two parts again ( the 3rd part wasn't out when I first played it, so...).

Hi, another new member. I just signed up yesterday, and been playing random games on the featured list. I clicked what i figured was the first case, then later found the forums post (which is kinda obvious) and then.....thats when it hit me I started with...the 3rd case in the series. So I am only here to ask.....I am not far in the story, should i STOP here and play the first & second case, or just finish the 3rd and go on with the knowledge anyways?

The third case is chronologically the first in the series' timeline, but I suggest to play them in order anyway. The case references to quite a lot of events of the previous two and likewise you'd spoil yourself some info for them. So, playing them in order would be my recommendation.
