New member here (so be gentle with me) and first I have to say that I have never played a 'real' Ace Attorney game (Hey, I haven't been able to find them at a price I could afford, okay? I'm a poor student), but always wanted to, I googled and found this website, so my knowlage of this game-universe is rather limited. pleasedon'tkillme
Now, the Matt Silver series you have created.. It's fantastic, and so far my faveorite cases, but god damnit it does make me feel retarded sometimes!
I was stuck at one place on the first case (it's about 6AM here, I'm sick and I haven't slept, so sorry if I suck at names XD) and when I realized what I needed to do I just felt like banging my head on the wall because it was so OBVIOUS once I knew what to do.
And that's a feeling I've had more than once throughout the series because I am just that blind to the obvious sometimes. :P
I've also grown very fond of James, and at the beginning of the third one, I felt like punshing my screen when he made that appearence (besides, I think that character in general looks like the penguin dude from Batman, and that kinda creeps me out <.<) and espesially at his little comment.
In the third case I love the stumbles they do (being a major anime geek and all :P), it just cracks me up every time. And yes, I've had to stiffle my laughter more than once at those occations (I've seen them a few times, seeing as I mess up the case every now and then >.<)
The convention case was interesting, and one of the cases where I felt like a retard every now and then. And oh god the feeling when you get something right! Especially if it's a wild guess on my part :P

All in all, great series. And I WILL come over here and explain if I get stuck again.

Spoiler : :
Okay, I'm stuck again >.< The 'What I witnessed part 3' get me nowhere.. A hint please?

Glad to hear you like the series KaiPon. And also that you think the contradictions were obvious once you figured them out - I wouldn't want too much fake difficulty because of contradictions that don't make much sense. :)
As for the part where you're stuck:
Spoiler : What I witnessed, part 3 :
This is a tricky one, I admit, because you have to use information of a piece of evidence that is only written in the court record but not has been mentioned. Take a closer look at the bullet - that should help you.

Thanks! That got me through it! :D Though, I find what might be (?) a typo.

Spoiler : :
When explaining the subsonic bullet thing, James says the following; So we can assume that the he did indeed hear a lout, unsilenced gunshot., is that suppoused to be loud instead?

Good find, thank you! It has been fixed. If you find any more, let me know so I can correct those too. :)

No problem :) I might miss a few, since english isn't my first language, but I will do my best ^^

(EDIT; Found another thing.
Spoiler : :
When you press about the parting thing when the defendant is testefying, James says So, you say that at the time of the murder, your friend was already gone already?.

Eh... I don't know what's happening here... But I can't figure what to do in "warm-up testimony".

Spoiler : :
I mean, I first thought that him seeing a gun so clearly was impossible due to the lights out, but I present the power outage and the photo and it isn't that -_- Later I thought of his park guard schedule but it isn't either. And to top it off, you are making me feel stupid with the "obvious contradiction thing" Matt and James say... I have cleared all the contradictions up to this part, so please tell me fast what is the contradiction in this part... I'm annoyed right now.

It's interesting to see how differently two people can find a single testimony's difficulty. I see very often that some find a particular one hard while others solved it easily, and then with the next it's exactly the other way round. :)
But anyway, here's a hint:
Spoiler : :
The schedule is indeed the contradicting piece of evidence.
Show that if what he says is true, he must have been almost an hour late!

I'm stuck on the third part of case 3, probably because I'm too lazy to replay the first two parts again ( the 3rd part wasn't out when I first played it, so...).

Spoiler : For where I'm stuck at :
I'm stuck at Payne's 1st testimony/rebuttal >.<. I sure hope it's because I didn't replay the 1st two parts, because even the thought of losing to Payne is.....*shudder*

Fear not, for I will ease your Payne! (HA!)
Spoiler : :
The blood on the pin is the solution here. It must have gotten on there somehow, so it's unlikely that the shot missed!

Hi, another new member. I just signed up yesterday, and been playing random games on the featured list. I clicked what i figured was the first case, then later found the forums post (which is kinda obvious) and then.....thats when it hit me I started with...the 3rd case in the series. So I am only here to ask.....I am not far in the story, should i STOP here and play the first & second case, or just finish the 3rd and go on with the knowledge anyways?

The third case is chronologically the first in the series' timeline, but I suggest to play them in order anyway. The case references to quite a lot of events of the previous two and likewise you'd spoil yourself some info for them.
So, playing them in order would be my recommendation.

Can't tell if "Narikoh" is intentional or not... Dx

Which case exactly? He appears in more than one, so knowing which one would be good to know for giving hints. :)
