Well... there we have the premise. Nothing too special, nothing too bad. Sadly not much about the crime yet... Could go in any direction... I guess I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah, I guess there isn't anything that interesting yet. Thanks for your opinions tho Thankfully, the Investigation's more than halfway done, so I should be able to finish and start the first Trial portion by the end of next week if I keep at it. (And now I have more free time on the weekends )
Also, Demo's been taken down for, well, obvious development reasons.

Day 1 Investigation is finally complete! Hopefully there aren't any Sequence Breaking bugs left; I've play-tested the hell out of it already. (I need to get beta-testers soon ) Like I've said under Play Now!, make sure to save during the last frames of each chapter to keep your variables for the endings

BTW, anyone know who I can get revamped Edgeworth sprites from? I remember someone doing them a while back...
Daniel started making some, I don't know if he ever finished the set...

Yes, that's exactly correct. The purpose of the test is to test whether you have an understanding of the material, not if you've simply memorized it and can regurgitate it. In fact, I'm sure the reason he put the 'trick questions' on the test was in order to see who understood the material and was paying attention and who was simply memorizing facts without taking the time and effort to actually understand them.

It's a solid investigation. I like how you valued the little details, I could present and investigate a lot of things and get different responses. xP It also creates that typical AA-feeling of still being completely clueless about what actually happened when going into court...
Spoiler : :
Oldbag and Brushel in the same case!? N-Not the best lineup for potential witnesses.
Where there are prosecutors that can do anything they want, strange assistants, breakdowns that include lots of cultural references, wacky lines, impossible hair styled defense attorneys, strange killing methods, complicated cases, loyal detectives, confused judges, crazy witnesses, hopeless defendants, tons of noise, lots of evidence, bobby-trapped testimonies, and last but not least, repeatedly hearing the words "Hold it!", "Take That!", and of course,
"OBJECTION!"

Heh heh heh... I would, but that would spoil the "routes"...
Is it really difficult? All you have to do is move locations, talk, and present. No Psyche Locks yet in Day 1, so it's impossible to get a Game Over EDIT: Well, there is one point that might be tricky, but you don't get penalized for guessing
News: Day 2 is very close to completion (thank God it didn't take as long as Day 1); expect it to come out sometime this weekend or early next week. I may ask for a beta-tester, but it's much more straight-forward than the rest of the episode (even Day 1 had some complexities), so it should be easy for me to play-test from start to finish.

Load up your Save File from Day 1 and click the continue arrow, or if you haven't played Day 1 yet and are interested, then by all means, start on Day 1!
This part of the Episode is the most linear; nothing in it affects the variables for the endings. Nevertheless, I put a lot of effort into it by revamping Phoenix's sprites (though sadly, I didn't have time to do Edgeworth's ), adding in other custom sprites, and working more consistently on it. (Day 1 took more much longer, but mostly because I slacked off for a few months )
My logic isn't the best, so please don't be harsh if my contradictions don't make sense. As well, I made most of this up as I went along, which is the exact opposite of how it should be done. I'll try explaining any Plot Holes that are mentioned
Day 3 will most likely take much longer, because I need to have three different scenarios running at once. (Oh God ) Beta-Testers for this part are pretty much required, though the positions won't be open until I make it to the "intersection". And I still have a lot of planning to do, too.
Anyway... I hope you enjoy this chapter. I think it should be a bit better than Day 1, because I'm more adept at doing trials. Play, enjoy, and please, review! (Okay, you don't have to, but I appreciate it )
EDIT: The trial is a bit long, being at nearly 1800 frames. I could've easily split it into two parts at the mid-way point, but I thought that I could still fit the second bit and stop at 1500 frames. Obviously, my prediction was wrong, lol.
Also, I will post a walk-through soon enough. (Not sure how difficult the trial actually is...)
UPDATE: Walkthrough for this chapter has been added to the first post. As have a few screenshots.
