Now I don't know whether or not this is the right place to post this but if it needs to get moved it will get moved. Now one thing I figured would be on this site would be a place were people share their ideas for a trial they're making in order to get feedback or suggestions from other members of the community. (Unless I just missed it somewhere )

So i figured that I should make this topic. Where people can put their ideas down(preferably in spoilers tab if they want to keep it somewhat secret.) and can basically ask for other people help or opinions.

I don't think this is the best way to approach making trial ideas.


Considering for the fact most people still end up on stage 1 and abandon it thereafter.

Well what would you suggest then? I figured that the biggest problem that people faced was that they came up with an idea but they just couldn't figure out how to get that idea to make sense for a case scenario. I was thinking here people could come here and think about ways to help that kind of situation out.

I think it's a nice idea, but it might give away solutions to whatever case they needed help with.

While that could be an issue, I don't think it's that big. I mean you figure it's more important to get the idea going than to have your time worrying about the community knowing about it.

But I suppose if you really wanted to keep it secret and not have anyone know about it except for a select few. You could always PM someone. Of course they might not be willing to help or might just be busy. So maybe we could use this thread to get people to help each other out.

I supose that this might be a good place to dump all of my unused case ideas that aren't already in RL:AA

Oh yeah, to give this thread a start,

A murder was committed in a Mental Asylum. The defendant is mentally ill and was caught on the security video killing the victim, and an eyewitness saw the entire thing. Only problem is, he's mentally ill too.

But if there's a security camera, shouldn't that clear it up, without the crazy guy's testimony? :yuusaku:

A year or so ago in the CR OC Contest, there was one entry in Fanart that was a patient in a mental disorder who had multiple personality disorder, and one of his personalities was accused of committing a murder.........

Anyway, if you're going to make a murder in a mental asylum (...coughTSubcough) then the defendant should totally have multiple personalities

Eheheheheheheheheheheh... I do believe there are other ways to make that kind of scenario interesting.

This reminds me of a riddle:
"If a man with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it a hostage situation?"

As for teh trial...
Apparently, video cameras are hard to come by, hence why so security cameras take pictures instead of recording videos. Perhaps that's why it's not so decisive?

Well maybe you could have the person could have different personalities as stated before. And maybe the camera could cut at certain parts and then you could see the specific personalities in action.
