My entry in Meph's September 2010 comedy comp

Phoenix loses his memory again during a trial and the witnesses behave very strangely. What's going on?

Yup, that was a clear gameplay change. Good work there. At least the final testimony was sufficiently difficult.

Yeah, I couldn't find any contradictions in the last one at all. I had to think it over, like, OVER 9000 times. :P

Some spoilery ramblings:
Spoiler : :
That's good to hear. I thought both contradictions might've been too easy. When I thought of this testimony phrase toggling idea I wanted to use it in a longer, more serious trial. I gave up after writing two CE's because I found it too hard to write changeable testimonies with only one possible non-obvious contradiction. I decided to just abruptly end it and inject some half-assed silliness to make it a comedy comp entry.

How I rate trials:
Pass:
Ace: 91 - 100 points
B: 75 - 90 points
C: 60 - 74 points
Fails:
D: 50 - 59 points
E: 35 - 49 points
Fail: 20 - 34
Ungraded: 1 - 19
The score is the average of: Content, spoilers, grammar, PW/AJ/ME style, and maybe more. (And yes, I keep a very high standard.)

I really enjoyed the "press every word" element, it added a nice change to the usual. That being said, I don't think I could call this an all-out comedy, per se. It had some funny parts, but that's pretty much it. You could probably work the "press every word" element into a serious trial, I'd like to see that. The only thing that I really didn't like was the picture for the ladder evidence was quite out of place and looked strange, but that's just a little thing. :)

It was more of a puzzle game than a comedy. :)
