Alrighty. I'm not gonna be posting comments and such much (rhyme) although I'm back because I NEED TO FOCUS ON THIS (So I'm gonna keep that message on my sig.). Seriously I keep thinking "Oh yeah, I'm so gonna do x and add in y!" but I end up putting in, like, 10 frames then going "Ah, what the hell, I'll do it some other time.". So yeah, Beta-testers, you'll have a nice load of beta-testeringinging to do soon. Kthnxbai.
Also, the older you get the less fun it is. Yeah, I dunno.
EDIT: I found a way to do a quick fade! (Not a lengthy one.) Make A black box the size of the upper screen and upload it then save it to a character as an external sprite. When you want to fade put the black box sprite after the current message.
Example:
Background: Witness Stand. Character: Maya. Text: I killed Kenny!.
Next frame: Background: Witness Stand. Character: Black Box. Text: None. Wait: 100.
Next Frame: Background: Black. Character: Hide. Text: None. Wait: Whatever you want it to be.
